Encounter Kids (infant through Grade 6) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn to know Jesus in a creative and relevant way. We would love to see you and your family visit Encounter Kids.
Here's what to expect when visiting Encounter Kids for the first time:
Follow the signs to “Kids Check-In”. There your family will meet on of our volunteers and get your child(ren) checked in for the morning. Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone): Parent/guardian name(s), Child's name,Child's birthdate, Phone number, Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children
Check-In & Pick-up (Where do my kids go?)
Your child is important to us. We have a digital check-in system so that we can properly keep track of your child from the first time they visit Encounter Kids. After checking-in at our kiosks, Nursery – Kindergarten will head to their classrooms. Grades 1 – 6 will join us in our main meeting area for the first 15 minutes of service before heading to their classroom. Children are encouraged to sit with their parents during the beginning of worship. Families are a central focus of our church. We value our children and want to model for them what being a worshipper is and that they are an important part of God’s kingdom. Kids can be picked up from their classrooms at the conclusion of the service.
Safety
Your child’s safety is our first priority. All Encounter Kids volunteers pass a background check and go through training before they begin volunteering in the classroom to ensure your child’s safety. We use a security tag system for child check-in and pick-up, and a paging system for parents/guardians in case we need to reach you during the worship service.
